KB & Carmen Tango in association with Umberto Amante presents TangoNovo, a nuevo tango experience on FRIDAY, July 13th, 2011.

Novo, Latin for "the new" and Tango, a dance of passion, come together to form the name of this unique event, TangoNovo, a nuevo tango experience.

Nuevo tango refers both to the dance style and the style of tango music. Musicians moved by the deep emotions elicited from tango are inspired to create "Novo" compositions to be interpreted by tango dancers using both nuevo and traditional forms of tango dance.

TangoNovo seeks to celebrate this emerging genre of dance and music, along with other Latin rhythms interpreted with a Euro vibe. Dance to a variety of unique tango, salsa, cumbia, cha-cha-cha, merengue, etc.

The ambiance for the evening is high energy dancing in a club atmosphere. If you enjoy "dressing up" to go out this event affords you that opportunity, although dressing up is not required. Bring your favorite beverages and victuals and enjoy them at any of the plentiful tables surrounding the dance floor.
