“Rape Aggression Defense Systems Training (R.A.D)”

“Rape Aggression Defense Systems Training (R.A.D)” The Cleveland Division of Police and Bureau of Community Present: RAD, which is a program of realistic self-defense tactics and techniques. It is a comprehensive self-defense course for women high school age and above. That begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction

and avoidance, while progressing on to the basics of hands-on defensive training. The course is led by officers of the Cleveland Division of Police, who are certified R.A.D. instructors.

The cornerstone of R.A.D. Systems, this course has its foundations in education and awareness. The course includes lecture, discussion and self defense techniques, suitable for women of all ages and abilities.

Hosted by the Cleveland Division of Recreation Starts Promptly At 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays, September 13, 20, 27, 2011 at Zelma George Recreation Center 3155

Martin Luther King Drive, Cleveland, Ohio Thursdays, October 6, 13, 20, 2011 at Michael Zone Recreation Center 6301 Lorain Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio

“FREE” Class is limited to 30 participants (Must attend all three classes to complete the program, fitness-type clothing is recommended)

Future sessions will be offered at these and other recreation centers in the City of Cleveland.
