Salsa in Cleveland

Cleveland offers the following regular salsa venues:

Every Thursday, Salsa Thursdays are held at Latin Soul Ballroom, 6902 Pearl Rd., Suite 201, Middlebugh Heights, 9 – 11:30pm.

Every Friday, Tropical Cleveland has a salsa night at the Fortress Nightclub, 1360 West 9th Street (on the corner of St Clair) in Cleveland’s West 6th / West 9th downtown entertainment district. Salsa lessons start at 9pm. DJ to follow. Every Friday, Salsa and Ceviche has a salsa night at the Europa Lounge, 30519 Pinetree Rd., Pepper Pike. Salsa lessons at 8:30, DJ to follow.

 

Every Saturday, Tropical Cleveland has a salsa night at LaBoca, located at 5800 Detroit Ave., Cleveland. Salsa lessons at 10:00, DJ to follow.

On the first Sunday of every month, Baila Duro holds its monthly Salsa Social at the Philippine American Hall, 1975 West Ridgewood Dr., Parma. Complimentary beginner Salsa lessons from 5-6pm. Social dancing 6-9pm. On the second Saturday of every month, the East Side Social takes place at the American Dance Exchange, 767 Alpha Drive, Cleveland (Wilson Mills exit off I-271). Lesson 7-8pm, Salsa social 8-10pm. DJ Israelo spins the music. For more info call 440-449-5222.

On the third Sunday of every month, the La Salso Teca social takes place at the All About Dancin’ Studio located at 2115 Freeman Avenue, Cleveland. Salsa Lesson at 7pm. Dancing 8 – 12:30.

Every other Saturday, Salsa Caliente, will be held at El Rio Grande Restaurant, 1541 Golden Gate Plaza, Mayfield Heights. Class 9 -10. DJ 10 – 2:30. As of this posting, the last one was held on August 13.
